Indeed. Where are the men?

Where are the men who care about women?
Where are the men who care about decency?
Where are the men who see women as more than property to be used and traded at will?
Where are the men who hold their peers accountable?
Where are the men speaking truth even when it’s uncomfortable?
Where are the men outraged by obvious lies?
Where are the men demanding transparency, accountability, and oversight?
Where are the men defending the American process?
Where are the Fathers who aren’t willing to trade their daughters as toys to the deranged?
Where are the husbands who are outraged that any man would reduce the title to mean nothing more than poor master.
Where are the uncles who don’t see nieces as something to be preyed upon, but rather someone to guide and protect?
Where are the men raising men to be better than this?
Where are the men demanding systemic change so this never happens again?
Where are the men who hold true that victims should be heard and believed, and NOT only after there so many of them that they are impossible to ignore?
Where are the men who are willing to lose a job or a reelection to be on the right side of history.
Where are the men who can’t look at themselves in the mirror when they know they need to fix things.
Where are the men?

I know there are a smattering of men who are turned inside-out in disgust from this. I follow content creators like SpeechProf and Jimmy on Relationships, so I know that there ARE men who are outraged.

Why aren’t there so many men outraged that this is even possible?

That silence speaks more than all of the trumped up claims that this is a “hoax,” or any other tool of misdirection that’s been launched at it. We hear what’s not being said. It tells us ALL how unsafe it is.

What if we tried something different?

My gratitude and respect to the survivors speaking out. I hear you. I hear the truth. I knew it when I saw it all over my tv growing up, and I recognize it now.

America should be ashamed of itself.
