Why Demanding Coherence Becomes a Scapegoat Function in Disrelated Systems

In disrelated cultures, individuals maintain stability by absorbing systemic incoherence through SCRRIPPTT‑shopping — selecting narratives that make contradictions survivable.
When someone refuses to participate in this distortion economy, the system loses a key stabilizing mechanism.

This is the structural reason truth‑tellers become scapegoats.

1. Disrelated Systems Survive by Offloading Incoherence Into Individuals

Contradictions are not resolved at the system level.
They are absorbed by individuals through:

  • reframing
  • self‑doubt
  • emotional labor
  • narrative performance

This absorption delays rupture and preserves the system.

2. Refusing Distortion Removes a Critical Buffer

A person who demands coherence interrupts the absorption process.
They stop participating in:

  • selective perception
  • narrative smoothing
  • pledge‑based alignment

The system immediately feels the loss of this buffer.

3. The System Must Relocate the Incoherence

When one individual stops absorbing contradictions, the system has two options:

  • change its structure, or
  • assign the incoherence to the individual who revealed it

Disrelated systems choose the second option.

The truth‑teller becomes the container.

4. Revealing Contradiction Is Treated as Causing Contradiction

In systems built on narrative loyalty, exposing incoherence is interpreted as generating it.

The truth‑teller becomes associated with:

  • disruption
  • negativity
  • misalignment
  • instability

These labels function as containment strategies.

5. The Truth‑Teller Becomes the Rupture Surrogate

Rupture occurs when SCRRIPPTT‑shopping fails.
The individual who refuses distortion becomes the focal point for:

  • accumulated tension
  • unprocessed contradictions
  • collective dissonance

They rupture so the system does not have to.

6. Scapegoating Resets the System Without Requiring Change

By locating incoherence in a single individual, the system can:

  • expel pressure
  • restore narrative stability
  • avoid structural accountability
  • reconstitute itself

Turnover or exclusion resets the cycle.

Core Structural Truth

Demanding coherence inside a system that depends on distortion interrupts the mechanism that keeps the system stable.
The individual who refuses SCRRIPPTT‑shopping becomes the designated site for rupture.

The scapegoat is not chosen for being wrong. The scapegoat is chosen for being accurate.
