Relational Field Theory

People often internalize their reactions as personal flaws: “I’m too sensitive,” “I’m overreacting.” RFT reframes this by showing that reactions are often proportional to the pressure in the field, not the content of the moment.

Your nervous system responds to relational forces long before your mind can narrate them. What looks like an overreaction is often an accurate response to invisible pressure.

When you understand this, shame dissolves. You stop attacking yourself and start adjusting the field.
