🌿 Residency & Consultancy
The Oikeíallo Field Residency Model
The Oikeíallo Residency is a five‑week, immersive, field‑based engagement designed to catalyze coherence, collaboration, and transformation within academic departments. This work is relational, ecological, and experiential; it requires physical presence and a stable support structure.
Departments interested in hosting a residency can contact me directly to begin the scheduling process.
🌿 Residency Structure (5 Weeks)
Week 1 — Deep Discussions
Mapping the department’s intellectual lineage, tensions, and coherence signatures.
Week 2 — Friction Discovery
Surfacing the conceptual, interpersonal, and structural frictions that limit growth.
Week 3 — Failure Cascade → Repair Cascade
Guided transformation of friction into generative pathways and new relational structures.
Week 4 — Integration
Panels, presentations, class visits, hands‑on labs, and collaborative sessions.
Week 5 — Infrastructure Setup
Establishing ongoing structures, partnerships, and pipelines that continue after the residency ends.
🌿 What Departments Provide
The Oikeíallo Residency requires the following support.
These are structural conditions, not negotiable items.
1. Per Diem for two (as I travel with my dependent)
Covers:
- food
- lodging
- local transportation
- faculty social events (e.g., mocktails, meals, gatherings)
2. Travel Arrangements for Two
The hosting department handles:
- booking travel
- booking lodging
- coordinating arrival and departure logistics
I do not manage travel or accommodation arrangements.
3. Incidental Materials Fund
A small flexible fund for:
- workshop materials
- printing
- supplies needed during rapid transformation phases
4. Contribution to the Center for Oikeíallo
A direct monetary contribution supporting:
- research
- development
- ongoing theoretical work
- public resources
- student access
This contribution anchors the residency within the broader Oikeíallo ecosystem.
5. Infrastructure Funding (Department‑Side)
Allocated by the department for:
- sustaining collaborations
- student pipelines
- cross‑departmental initiatives
- long‑term structures established during Week 5
This ensures the residency produces lasting impact.

🌿 Why This Structure Exists
The Oikeíallo Residency is intensive, relational work.
It requires stability, clarity, and support so the field can function without distortion.
These conditions:
- protect the integrity of the work
- prevent transactional dynamics
- ensure the residency is generative for everyone involved
- remove logistical and emotional burdens
- allow me to focus fully on the department’s transformation
This structure is not about “asking for money.”
It is about creating the ecology the work requires.
