Daily Prompt – Walk or Run – 9.13.25

How often do you walk or run?

No surprise that my body was never built for running. Having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome means I have “global joint laxity.” my knees, hips, and ankles all slide around making running pretty painful.

I enjoyed walks until the lower back pain attributed to my L4 facet joint arthropathy combined with intense electrical shocks that completely floor me.

So I got the spinal cord stimulator, and it’s amazing… when it works. Unfortunately, this spinal cord stimulator by Medtronics frequently doesn’t work, and I still have electrical storms that make it very difficult to function, much less walk.

But I am walking more, day-by-day, and I’m doing WAY more stairs. Bit-by-bit I’ll get it back.
